What is Disciple Now?
Disciple Now is a weekend retreat designed to create an atmosphere in which students will develop a closer relationship with God and experience Him at a new level. This time with God will enable our students to examine their relationship with God and also grow closer to other believers.

What are the dates of D-Now?
January 25th-27th

Where will the students be staying?
Students will be staying at “Host Homes.”

What is a Host Home?
“Host Homes” are families within our church who so graciously open up their homes for our student groups to stay in for this weekend event. Within the host home, your students will be digging deep into Gods word through bible study sessions guided by their Group Leaders, participate in D-Now activities, share meals, & grow closer to God through prayer, fellowship, and fun.

How much does it cost?
$50. (If money is an issue, please speak to Garrett or Torrie. Do NOT let that be reason to miss this event.)

What does the $50 cover?
It covers all meals, D-Now t-shirt, materials for the weekend and all other expenses for recreation/worship/etc.
Does NOT include: money for the “Wal-Mart Run” Friday night to get materials for your rec team.

When is the deadline to sign up?
The sooner the better! Official deadline is January 23rd

What if I have work/baseball/basketball/surgery on my big toe?
Please notify Garrett or Torrie before the event, so that we can make arrangements to work around your schedule. Seriously. We want you at DNOW, so we WILL work with you.
(This is NOT an event where someone can come and go. However, we know sometimes you cannot avoid it.)

What do students need to bring?
Teachable heart, awesome attitude, Bible, pen, notepad, clothes for rec, tennis shoes, pajamas, snacks, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, soap, shampoo, DEODORANT AND TOOTHBRUSH.
We will wear our D*NOW T-shirts on Sunday morning to church.

What can students NOT bring?
No video games, No tablets, No energy Drinks, No tobacco of any kind, No Vapes, No alcohol, No illegal substances, No fireworks, No weapons, No Knives or ANYTHING that MAY get them in the slightest trouble or distract us from what God is trying to teach us.

Other Rules:
Minimize TV and Phone usage- This is a retreat for growing closer to God and believers. Take a step back from distractions for the weekend and avoid the TV and phone usage

No Pranks- This weekends focus should be on God. Do NOT try to steal the glory from the weekend. If students bring shaving cream, better use it to shave. Pranks will NOT be tolerated. You WILL be sent home. PERIOD.

No Isolation- Don’t isolate yourself from everyone. Get off your phone, take out your headphones, & grow closer to your brothers and sisters in Christ.
